How are you staying busy during your off-season?
I’m staying busy this summer by putting in my time in the gym and getting on the ice a couple of times a week to get ready for training camp and to put myself in position to have a great season next year. With my spare time I am enjoying getting out and playing some tennis and relaxing with family and friends. Luckily for me I live on the beach so I am also spending a lot of time there and out on the water.

What was your most memorable moment from last season?
There were a lot of great moments last year. I think personally for me my most memorable moment would be getting called up to Phoenix for a few days at the Olympic break and getting my first experience up there. Even though I didn’t get to play it was still a new and exciting experience for me. In San Antonio my most memorable moment had to be the back-to-back nights beating Grand Rapids 7-4 and 7-2. 
 
What is your focus going into Coyotes training camp?
My focus going in Coyotes camp is to go there and try to prove that I belong in the NHL and that I deserve to be there. I want to go in there and do as well as I can and get some confidence going to set myself up for a great year in either Phoenix or in San Antonio.
 
What do you believe will be key to the Rampage’s success this year?
The biggest key to the Rampage's success will be being consistent this year. We can't afford another long losing streak. If you look back on the past 2 years and we didn’t have those streaks we could have been a playoff team or put ourselves in a much better position to become one. I think if the returning players can come back and build off of last year and with some new players coming in and making an impact it could be an exciting year in San Antonio.
