Panthers reassign Kearns to Rampage

The Florida Panthers announced today that forward Bracken Kearns has been reassigned to San Antonio (AHL).

Kearns, 30, leads the Rampage in scoring with 15 points (7-8-15) in 18 games this season and eight points (2-6-8) in his last six games with San Antonio. The Vancouver, British Columbia, native made his NHL debut October 20, 2011 against the Buffalo Sabres and averaged 7:12 of ice time in two games played with Florida. In his second stint with Florida, he played in three games with two fighting majors and averaged 7:15 of ice time. Kearns was signed by Florida as a free agent on July 14, 2011.
