Rampage send Long to Las Vegas

San Antonio Rampage General Manager Brad Treliving today announced that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has assigned center Colin Long to their ECHL affiliate, the Las Vegas Wranglers.

Long, 21, skated in five games with the Rampage since his recall on Oct. 12. Prior to joining the Rampage, he appeared in one game with Las Vegas this season, tallying one goal and one assist.

The Santa Ana, Calif. native appeared in 29 games with the Rampage last season collecting two goals and two assists. He was selected by the Phoenix Coyotes in the fourth round (99th overall) of the 2008 NHL Draft.

The Rampage will host the Toronto Marlies this Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the AT&T Center. Wednesday’s game features an All-You-Can-Eat Weeknight in which fans can get a game ticket and bottomless popcorn, soda, nachos, peanuts and hot dogs for $20.
