Rampage Announce Season Presenting Sponsors

The San Antonio Rampage today announced that Christus Santa Rosa Health System and Venom Energy Drink will be the presenting sponsors for the 2010-11 season.

“We are excited to have Christus Santa Rosa Health System and Venom Energy Drink as our presenting partners this year,” said Ryan Snider, director of hockey business operations.  “Christus Santa Rosa is a pillar in the San Antonio community and a great partner for our values-based organization and the community outreach efforts of our team.  Venom Energy Drink embodies all that is Rampage - Energy, Excitement, Passion, and Quality.  We are truly blessed to have these two great partners.”

Christus Santa Rosa is the only Catholic faith-based non-profit health care system in San Antonio. They serve the community through a variety of services including pediatric care, a comprehensive cancer program, cardiac care, surgical units, a diabetes care program, orthopedic services, and many more. The Rampage initiated a special program last season titled “Face-Off Against Kids Cancer” that pairs Rampage players with children from the Centers for Oncology and Blood Disorders at Christus Santa Rosa, who are currently in either early stages of treatment for pediatric cancer or in remission. Through a series of social events, the program helped Rampage players forge lasting relationships with their respective buddies and their families.

Venom Energy Drink is a product of the Dr. Pepper/Snapple Group. It comes in four flavors including Fruit Punch, Black Mamba, Mango, and a Low-Carb Mojave option. During the months of October and November, fans that purchase a Venom Energy Drink at participating H-E-B locations can show their receipt at the AT&T Center box office and receive a complimentary ticket to a Rampage game.

The 2010-11 Rampage season begins on Friday, Oct. 8 against the Chicago Wolves at 7 p.m. at the AT&T Center and will feature the return of Dollar Drink Nights in which fans can buy fountain soda and draft beer for only $1.
