St. Louis Blues Reassign Goaltender Ville Husso to San Antonio
SAN ANTONIO (Nov. 3, 2017) – The St. Louis Blues have reassigned goaltender Ville Husso (VIH-lee, WHO-soh) to the San Antonio Rampage (AHL).
Husso, 22, has appeared in three games with the Rampage this season, posting a 2-1-0 record along with a 2.69 goals-against average and a .927 save percentage. In 2016-17, the 6-foot-2, 205-pound goaltender logged a 13-6-0 mark, including a 2.37 goals-against average and a .920 save percentage, with the AHL’s Chicago Wolves. A native of Helsinki, Finland, Husso was originally drafted by the Blues in the fourth round of the 2014 NHL Draft (94th overall).
Husso will be available for tonight’s game as San Antonio concludes its two-game series against the Iowa Wild at 7 p.m. at Wells Fargo Arena.
