RAMPAGE SIGN DEFENSEMAN BEN STORM AND FORWARD BRADY SHAW TO ATOs

SAN ANTONIO (March 18, 2017) – The San Antonio Rampage announced today that defenseman Ben Storm and forward Brady Shaw have been signed to amateur tryout contracts.

Storm, 22, joins San Antonio from St. Cloud State (NCHC), where he spent the last four seasons, tallying four goals and 13 assists in 121 games. During his time at St. Cloud State,he was named a three-time All-NCHC Academic Award recipient and was selected as team captain during his senior season. The Laurium, Mich. native was a sixth-round pick (153rd overall) of the Colorado Avalanche in the 2013 NHL Draft.

Shaw, 24, joins the Silver and Black from the University of Vermont (H-East), where he spent the last four seasons, tallying 37 goals and 40 assists in 142 games. The Ottawa, Ont. native also spent two seasons in the British Columbia Hockey League and won a BCHL Championship in the 2012-13 season with the Surrey Eagles.

Both players will be available for tomorrow’s game as San Antonio finishes its season series with the San Diego Gulls at 7 p.m. CT at the AT&T Center.
