CLEVELAND, Ohio (April 6, 2018) – The San Antonio Rampage (33-29-10-0) held a one-goal advantage early in the middle frame against the Cleveland Monsters (24-38-7-3) but allowed four second-period goals and fell 6-3 on Friday at Quicken Loans Arena. Rampage players Travis Barron, Josh Dickinson, Austin Poganski, Turner Ottenbreit and Adam Werner all made their professional debuts on Friday against the Monsters.

Cleveland struck first 50 seconds into the game when Ryan Kujawinski collected a loose puck in front of the net and fired it into the cage. Ottenbreit evened the game less than four minutes later after the rookie beat goaltender Jeff Zatkoff with a slap shot from the left point at the 4:32 mark for his first professional goal.

San Antonio capitalized on a power-play opportunity more than 10 minutes later after Jesse Graham found Alex Belzile on the goal line, allowing the forward to hit the puck off Zatkoff and into the back of the net at the 15:40 mark. The Monsters notched the game at two with 83 seconds remaining in the opening period after Paul Bittner redirected Ryan Collins' shot past goaltender Spencer Martin.

Andrew Agozzino gave the Rampage a one-goal lead at 3:56 of the middle frame after he received a pass from Klim Kostin and sent a backhander into the net for his 20th of the season. Jacob Graves tied the game 23 seconds later after beating Martin with a wrister from the right circle. Cleveland took the lead at the 7:12 mark after Jordan Schroeder sent the puck in front of the net to Calvin Thurkauf, who found the back of the net for the ninth time this season. Following Thurkauf's goal, the Rampage elected for a change in net as Werner replaced Martin. Jefferson Dahl added a fifth goal for the Monsters at 9:21 before Kujawinski collected his second of the night at the 11:15 mark, capping off a four-goal second period.

Both team were held scoreless in the final frame as the Monsters earned a 6-3 victory over the Rampage.
