Down 2-0 in the Western Conference Finals of the Kelly Cup Playoffs, the Fort Wayne Komets head to Allen, Texas for Games 3 and 4 (and Game 5, if necessary) against the Americans. It's not uncharted territory for the Rampage's ECHL affiliate. The Komets trailed the Cincinnati Cyclones 2-0 in their opening round series, dropping the first two games at home before taking two-of-three on the road and eventually winning the series in seven games.

Troy Bourke has tallied two goals and two assists in through the first two contests of the series while Trevor Cheek recorded two goals and an assist in Game 1. Despite these efforts, Fort Wayne fell 5-3 in Game 1.

The Komets held a one-goal lead in Game 2 off second-period tallies from Garrett Meurs and Bourke, but the Americans scored with 30 seconds left in the frame to knot the game at two. After a scoreless third period, Allen sealed a 3-2 win in overtime.

Game 3 is set for Thursday, May 19 at 7:05 p.m. CT.
