RAMPAGE TO HOST 10TH ANNUAL PINK IN THE RINK GAME JAN. 31Jan 23, 2020
SAN ANTONIO (Jan. 23, 2020) – The San Antonio Rampage will celebrate breast cancer survivors and raise awareness for breast health during their 10th annual Pink in the Rink game, presented by Methodist Healthcare System, on Friday, Jan. 31. Puck drop against the Texas Stars is set for 7 p.m. at the AT&T Center. For the 10th consecutive year, the game will be played on pink ice and the Rampage will wear custom pink jerseys, which for the first time ever will sport a patch bearing the names of cancer fighters or survivors. Special ticket packages and game information are available at SARampage.com/Pink. Annually the biggest game of the year for the Rampage, the San Antonio community continues to rally around this event and has helped the Rampage raise more than $270,000 for breast cancer awareness and research efforts to date.
Ticket packages for the game, which include a pink t-shirt, start at only $20. Friday, Jan. 31 will also be a Bud Light Dollar Drink Night, and fans can purchase $1 pink domestic beers and sodas throughout the game. In honor of the cause, La Gloria will also serve pink margaritas at Section 200 on the arena’s Balcony Level.
The Silver and Black will celebrate and highlight breast cancer fighters and survivors throughout the evening, both on the concourse and in-game. Attendees can fill out #IPINKFOR signs at Section 128 in honor of someone they support in the fight against breast cancer. The Rampage will sell 300 pink mystery pucks for $20 apiece, 299 of which will be player-signed. An exclusive mystery gift will be given to the buyer of the one unsigned puck. Proceeds from the puck sales will benefit Susan G. Komen San Antonio and Silver & Black Give Back.
This year, Travis Park is celebrating Pink in the Rink by pinking out the park with balloons, ribbons and streamers, a week leading up to the game. Frost Bank will also support the cause by lighting the Frost Bank Tower, located at 111 W Houston St., pink throughout the week of Jan. 27.
