SAN ANTONIO (Jan. 6, 2020) – The San Antonio Rampage will host a month-long celebration ahead of their 10th annual Pink in the Rink game, set for Friday, Jan. 31 against the Texas Stars. Highlighted events will include a celebrity waiter night on Tuesday, Jan. 7 and a survivor skate on Wednesday, Jan. 22. The celebration will kick off on Tuesday, Jan. 7 when Rampage players swap out their Silver and Black jerseys for aprons to wait tables for customers and raise funds for WINGS from 7-9 p.m. at LongHorn Steakhouse, located at 5803 N Loop 1604 E. Proceeds from each meal will benefit the nonprofit, whose mission is to provide comprehensive breast health services to uninsured women in Central and South Texas. The evening will also feature a special unveil of this year’s Pink in the Rink jersey.

Following the dinner on Jan. 7, the Rampage will host their first-ever pregame online auction, giving fans the opportunity to bid on jerseys in honor of a person they #pinkfor. Each winner will have the chance to put the name of a loved one on a player’s jersey patch, which will be worn during the Pink in the Rink game on Friday, Jan. 31. Following the game, the personalized jerseys will be autographed by the players and given back to the winning bidders. Proceeds from the jersey sale will benefit Susan G. Komen San Antonio.

The online auction will start on Tuesday, Jan. 7 at 8 p.m. and will close on Monday, Jan. 13 at 8 p.m. Bids can be placed at pink.givesmart.com or by texting ‘PINK’ to 76278.
