Colorado Recalls Defenseman Andrei Mironov From San Antonio
SAN ANTONIO (Oct. 23, 2017) – The Colorado Avalanche today announced that defenseman Andrei Mironov has been recalled from the San Antonio Rampage, marking his first call-up to the Avalanche and Colorado’s fourth recall from San Antonio this season.
Mironov began the 2017-18 season with the Avalanche, recording his NHL debut on Oct. 5 against the New York Rangers. The Moscow, Russia, native recorded two points (1g/1a) in three games with San Antonio this season. The 6-foot-3, 194-pound defenseman will join former Rampage players A.J. Greer, Gabriel Bourque, J.T. Compher, Chris Bigras, Nikita Zadorov, and Mikko Rantanen in Colorado.
San Antonio returns to the AT&T Center at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27 for a contest against the San Jose Barracuda.
