COLORADO AVALANCHE RECALL FORWARD TYSON JOST FROM SAN ANTONIO
SAN ANTONIO (Nov. 26, 2017) – The Colorado Avalanche today announced that forward Tyson Jost has been recalled from the San Antonio Rampage.
Jost's call-up to the NHL serves as Colorado's eighth recall from San Antonio this season. The 5-foot-11, 191-pound forward registered two points (1g/1a) in five games with the Rampage and recorded two points (1g/1a) in six contests with the Avalanche earlier this season.
He made his NHL debut on April 9 against the St. Louis Blues after spending a majority of the 2016-17 season with the University of North Dakota, tallying 35 points (16g/19a) in 33 games. Jost was originally drafted by the Avalanche in the first round (10th overall) of the 2016 NHL Draft and will join former Rampage players Gabriel Bourque, Andrei Mironov, Vladislav Kamenev, Dominic Toninato, J.T. Compher, Chris Bigras, Anton Lindholm, Nikita Zadorov, and Mikko Rantanen in Colorado.
