GRAND RAPIDS, MI (Dec. 3, 2018) – St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced on Monday that the Blues have recalled forwards Jordan Nolan and Jordan Kyrou and defenseman Chris Butler from the San Antonio Rampage.
Nolan, 29, currently leads the Rampage with seven goals and 15 points in 24 games. The Garden River, Ontario native has seven goals and 13 points in his last 11 games for San Antonio with a plus-10 rating over that span. A two-time Stanley Cup winner with the Los Angeles Kings, Nolan has played in 361 NHL games with the Kings and Buffalo Sabres and totaled 24 goals, 50 points, and 333 penalty minutes.
Kyrou, 20, has five goals and ten points in 15 games with the Rampage. A second-round draft pick of the Blues in 2016, Kyrou had scored goals in four straight games for San Antonio and recorded seven points over that span. The Toronto, Ontario native began the season with the Blues, recording an assist in nine NHL games. He was named the OHL's Most Outstanding Player last season with the Sarnia Sting, posting 39 goals and 109 points in 56 games.
Butler, 32, has posted two goals and ten points in 23 games with the Rampage this season. The Rampage captain started the season in St. Louis and tallied a goal in two NHL games. A St. Louis, Missouri native, Butler has played in 396 NHL games with the Sabres, Blues, and Calgary Flames, posting 14 goals, 85 points, and 187 penalty minutes.
The Rampage complete their road trip on Wednesday night in Grand Rapids with a 6 p.m. CT puck-drop at Van Andel Arena against the Grand Rapids Griffins. The game is available on The Ticket 760AM and on AHLTV.
