Rampage Rally But Fall in Overtime to Stars

CEDAR PARK (Dec. 29, 2015) – The San Antonio Rampage (14-11-7-0) rallied from a two-goal deficit in the third period, but fell to the Texas Stars (16-13-2-2) 5-4 in overtime in front of 4,752 at the Cedar Park Center on Tuesday night. Borna Rendulic tallied two goals, earning the First Star of the Game, and Joey Hishon finished with two assists.

Rampage Postgame Notebook: New Year’s Day

The lack of scoreboard success at the AT&T Center is a source of frustration for the Rampage, now winless on home ice in eight straight games (0-7-1). The last Rampage win in front of a friendly crowd was Nov. 17 against the same Texas Stars, who handed San Antonio a 3-2 setback Sunday.

Rampage Rally Falls Short Against Texas

SAN ANTONIO (Dec. 27, 2015) – The San Antonio Rampage (14-11-6-0) rallied from a three-goal deficit but fell to the Texas Stars (15-13-2-2) 3-2 in front of 7,256 at the AT&T Center on Sunday evening. It was the Rampage’s 11th annual Teddy Bear Toss game, presented by H-E-B, and the bears collected at the game will benefit the Children’s Hospital of San Antonio.

Rampage Outduel Stars 5-4

CEDAR PARK (Dec. 26, 2015) – The San Antonio Rampage (14-10-6-0) extended their winning streak to three with a 5-4 win over the Texas Stars (14-13-2-2) in front of 5,891 at the Cedar Park Center Saturday night. Joey Hishon scored two goals, including the game-winning goal with 22 seconds left in regulation, to earn the First Star of the Game. Roman Will finished with 44 saves on 48 shots, and Nikita Zadorov recorded a goal and two assists.
