The Rampage family always has time for the community.  Rampage players, coaches, T-Bone the mascot and staff all have a presence in the community, attending school assemblies, making hospital visits and volunteering for non-profit events and fundraisers.

“Face-Off Against Kids Cancer” is a program that pairs a Rampage hockey player with a child from the Centers for Oncology and Blood Disorders at Christus Santa Rosa who is in either early stages of treatment for pediatric cancer or hopefully in remission.  The players and children then participate together in a series of social events over a five month period with the hopes of creating a lasting relationship and increased awareness about childhood cancer in the community.  Such social events include a pizza party, a visit to Sea World and a trip to the San Antonio Rodeo. 

“Face-Off Against Kids Cancer” also acts as a fundraiser.  To culminate the program each year, the Rampage create fundraising opportunities, such as jersey auctions, and use the proceeds to benefit Christus Santa Rosa and pediatric cancer support groups in the San Antonio community. During the inaugural “Face-Off Against Kids Cancer” in 2010, the Rampage raised more than $10,000 in an effort to fight childhood cancer.

Originally initiated by the Mississippi Sea Wolves Hockey Club in 2003 and duplicated by the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies, the Phoenix RoadRunners, and the Fresno Falcons, “Face-Off Against Kids Cancer” has touched hundreds of lives and raised thousands of dollars.

Thousands of fans experience Rampage home games through the Silver & Black Give Back (formerly Spurs Foundation)'s Community Ticket Donation program.  Through the underwriting support of Silver & Black Give Back (formerly Spurs Foundation) and sponsors, thousands of tickets are awarded to deserving children through our educational programming; nonprofits who benefit physically, emotionally and economically disadvantaged youth, as well as organizations wishing to raise money for charitable causes.

Spurs Sports & Entertainment (San Antonio Spurs, San Antonio Silver Stars, San Antonio Rampage, Austin Toros, Silver & Black Give Back - formerly the Spurs Foundation, and the AT&T Center) is asked to support thousands of worthwhile charitable causes and events each year. We make every effort to accommodate as many requests as possible. However, due to the number of requests we receive, we are simply unable to accommodate all requests. In order for your organization to be considered for a donation item for an upcoming event, you must comply with the following guidelines:

• Requests may only be submitted online via our online Donation Request Form. Request applications that are incomplete, not submitted online or do not meet all guidelines, will not be considered.
• We must receive the request 30 days prior to date needed
• Non-Profit tax exemption status and valid ID # is required at time of request
• Must be within a 75 mile radius of San Antonio
• We do not accept personal items to be autographed and SS&E will not be held responsible for lost items
• We do not donate to third parties fundraising on behalf of another organization
• Only one request will be honored per fiscal year (July-June), for approved organizations
• Spurs Sports & Entertainment cannot donate incentives or auction items to local employee United Way Campaigns. We also do not purchase ads. 

Due to the large volume of requests received, there are no exceptions to the above guidelines. Please keep in mind that submitting an online request does not guarantee your organization will receive a donation.
