This is the third season, second in San Antonio, that Bryan Helmer has instituted his “Helmer’s Heroes” program.  Through his program, the veteran purchases six season tickets for donation to deserving South Texas children. Through his generosity, economically, emotionally and/or physically disadvantaged children and their families attend Rampage home games, sitting in the special “Helmer’s Heroes” section. Afterwards, the children and their family members visit the Rampage’s locker room, where they meet Helmer and his teammates and enjoy a tour of the room. At the end of the visit, the children receive a specially designed Rampage item(s) purchased by Helmer and autographed by him and his teammates.
